the main word is stitched in 3D so it carries thickness, and the smaller line beneath it is run flat, because a thin stroke would sink into the foam. One artwork, two stitch heights, and fine print stays readable rather than being blown up to survive.

Design are stitched as short steps rather than long runs, so along a script letter the outline keeps a clean edge and a hand-drawn word holds its shape where it turns. On a raised letter that matters twice over, because the edge stands proud of the cloth and a wobble shows from the side.

Embroidery is priced by the stitch rather than by the shirt: a denser design uses more thousand-stitch units, which is why two logos of the same size can price differently depending on what sits inside them. A colour or a stroke can then be dropped before the order is placed rather than after it.
