A hood traps heat at the neck, so one zip forces a choice, keep the hood up and stay sealed, or open the chest and lose it. Two pulls remove the trade-off: with the hood raised and the chest shut, opening the bottom of the zip vents at the waist, and the hood keeps the set you gave it, up or down.

Oversized with dropped shoulder seams, and a hood that stands on its own. The second pull does the work: open the zip from the bottom to sit down, cool off or reach a layer underneath without undoing the whole front. Wear it open over a tee, closed under a coat, or half-zipped with the collar up.
